Compass CHC named as one of The Sunday Times Best Places to Work 2025

Compass CHC, the continuing healthcare (CHC) funding specialist, has been named one of The Sunday Times Best Places to Work 2025, powered by WorkL.

This prestigious list celebrates the UK’s top employers based on employee experience and engagement. Compass CHC appears in the medium-sized business category (50 to 249 employees), joining over 500 organisations recognised nationwide.

The Sunday Times Best Places to Work awards uses 26 questions from WorkL’s employee engagement survey, developed by behavioural scientists, data analysts, psychologists, business leaders, academics and other independent parties to most accurately monitor employee engagement, wellbeing and discretionary effort in the workplace.

To achieve a high overall engagement score, an organisation must score well across WorkL’s six-step framework:

  1. Reward and recognition
  2. Instilling pride
  3. Information sharing
  4. Empowerment
  5. Wellbeing
  6. Job satisfaction.

Tim Davies, CEO, Compass CHC said: “I’m incredibly proud that Compass CHC has been recognised as one of The Sunday Times Best Places to Work. This is a huge achievement to be recognised as a top employer, and testament to the fantastic team we’ve built here at Compass CHC. We’re united by a shared purpose: helping families secure the care and funding they’re entitled to. That mission drives our culture and brings meaning to everything we do.”

Zoe Thomas, editor of The Sunday Times Best Places to Work, said: “The Sunday Times Best Places to Work list is the UK’s biggest survey of employee engagement, compiled in partnership with workplace expert WorkL. Spanning a raft of sectors and located throughout the UK, the organisations in this year’s list range from innovative start-ups with a handful of employees to big multinational corporations staffed by thousands. These organisations know that happy employees are the superpower helping them thrive.”

Founded in Devon and now supporting families across England and Wales, Compass CHC has built a multidisciplinary team of legal, clinical, and case management professionals. The company is known for its integrity, expertise and compassionate approach to navigating NHS Continuing Healthcare.
