To secure this funding is a mammoth task and not something we would have been able to do ourselves. Their in depth fact finding was absolutely incredible. I had never heard of CHC funding, it was a work colleague of my sister that brought Compass CHC to our attention. Discovering Compass CHC has meant that I have been able to keep a roof over my head as I had reached the stage where my only option was to sell my home to cover my Mum's care home costs.

My brother and I contacted Compass to see if they could help navigate us through the process of the ICB wanting to put our father into a nursing home and self funding, even though we thought he had more complex needs due to his dementia. We had an initial meeting with them and were dealt with both professionally and empathetically and were told a few days after this meeting that they were sure our father should be able to have his care paid for. Long story short, our father is now in a nursing home and this is being fully funded by the local authority although his savings are above the threshold. If it hadn't have been for CHC and their advise, we would have been paying for our fathers care. I cannot recommend contacting them enough, even if it's for an initial meeting.

Compass CHC have succeeded beyond our expectations in supporting our NHS Appeal to get CHC funding awarded for my 98 yr old mother. We will also apply to get this backdated. Total value over £160,000 plus 8k per month going forward. It was also valuable to have extensive records to counter the views of the ICB. With Compass you don’t get a dedicated advocate for your case but their own notes and process means a seamless service. We cannot thank you all enough. Excellent service and result.
